About me

I strive to ensure that I have happy customers and happy event attendees!

GDBC Designs and Events was founded in January 2020 as Graphic Design by Chloe. I started my business as a way to keep occupied whilst still being bedbound due to my disability and have now rebranded as my health has improved, allowing me to host some amazing child centred events!

I started out by producing and selling a range of business essentials such as business cards, logos web design etc, but later began producing educational tools when the Coronavirus pandemic hit - due to my advanced background in early years education.

I also started making greetings cards, keyrings and treat boxes which began my love of creating gift products. At this point, my health began to gradually improve and once the first lockdown was lifted I began working closely with Kwellers to host a range of events.

Unfortunately, Kwellers had to close their business, so I began hosting children's parties at homes and external venues. I host parties with a range of themes and save the parents from doing all the work, meaning they can sit back, relax, socialise with other parents and enjoy the party!

I run all of the the behind-the-scenes operations, making personalised and unique designs from scratch and taking time to make each design perfect. Alongside this, your physical designs require printing - sometimes folding and cutting card and paper is involved, so I take care to produce and package your orders before sending them to you!

I am a member of girlguiding and am a leader in training with my local Rainbows unit and a Unit Helper within my Brownie unit! I am currently completing my leadership qualification, which has given me an update on requirements within working with children, allowed me to embrace my creativity and take time to rest - as well as helping girls in a variety of activities to build skills, make relationships and earn badges!
